I’m glad you made it to 2020 and I’m grateful to God for keeping us alive!
I specially thank you for staying through with my agribusiness guidelines last year. I’ve got good offers this year.
Something inspired me to write this, and it is the diverse challenges farmers face as I toured round last year, solving problems and proffering world class solutions to farmers in Africa, whom the strokes of life’s ugly experiences struck.
The big game players in this agriculture space know that it’s not about too much talking, or the numerous motivations by our usual motivational speakers. Rather, It’s about the onsite actions, the strategies, the sleepless nights, the hunger that even the food producers face from day to day.
Here in Nigeria, the climatic conditions recently fluctuates, and this has given farmers unrest with regards to the type of crop to farm or agribusiness to explore in order not to encounter loss but, to have a bounty harvest.
More so, I see a lot of people talking about the good side of #Agriculture in #Nigeria, forgetting the numerous challenges farmers are faced with, on daily basis. Farmer Tsaninomi Israel Ogisi can attest how many times he went to bed hungry just to keep his farm running. I could feel the excruciating pain myself upon my bed.
As a practical farmer and trainer, I have observed over time that the real food producers are the ones who have been tossed upon the dark waters of trouble.
Most of them have wept the hot blinding tears of unspeakable anguish due to pest invasion, virulence and adverse weather conditions that affect farm crops and livestock thereby reducing harvest.
Most of them borrow from individuals, banks and friends to run their farms and when such ugly situations surface, they lose everything and are unable to pay back the loans, leading them into greater trouble.
The truth is that, there are even more challenges than you can imagine, and I know Tsekohol Denison and James Kalu can testify.
But who talks about the challenges of #farming? Just few persons like us whom life has shown a different #colour on the #rainbow and fortunately at same time rewarded hugely for not giving up. While you gain at times, in some cases, you lose everything, your invested capital and profit!
Well, as far as God lives, and the strategies are rightly outstanding, we ain’t giving up anytime soon.

However, it comes with its huge challenges; but once they’re surmounted through continuous learning and strategic actions, you can turn a multi millionaire overnight!
